Beverly Place - Lodge

Beverly Place Lodge contains 73 lodge units, including four accessible units and six double units. The lodge has inviting, outdoor courtyards to enjoy, complete with lawn swings and a small community garden to lend a hand in, if desired. During winter months, the lounge is a bright, spacious area where friends can sit by the fireplace and enjoy one another’s company while watching the snow falling outside the picture windows. Residents enjoy our comfortable and homey feel in this barrier-free building.
For those who would prefer to stay in, we always have plenty of activities to offer at the lodge, including leisurely games of bingo or some active “Fun and Fitness” exercise classes. Other activities include band entertainment, gardening, birthday parties, and crafts. As well, we offer outings to such places as museums, casinos, country drives, etc.
Residents have the convenience of on-site dining prepared by a Red Seal Chef, programming curated by an Activity and Wellness Coordinator, low-threshold showers, in-unit emergency call system, in-and non-medical staff 24 hours a day. As well, the lodge has a number of outside services that come regularly, including a hairdresser and foot care clinics.

Kiwanis Place Lodge - Lodge

Kiwanis Place Lodge, located on the same grounds as the Kiwanis Place Apartments, contains 205 single and double lodge units with balconies. The property features a beautiful, outdoor courtyard with a garden area and gazebo. The top floor is home to a penthouse with a small kitchen area and lounge, including a spectacular view of Edmonton to the east and west. This common area can be booked for small parties and family and friend get-togethers.
With a full recreation calendar, residents stay active and engaged with a variety of special events, bus outings, and daily activities. The auditorium on the ground floor is the place to come together for activities, such as enjoying shuffleboard, billiards, bingo games, sing-a-longs, ice cream parlours, movie night, pub night, and live entertainment. As well, the ground floor has a large lounge where residents can sit with friends to play cards, read the newspaper, engage in mental aerobics with crossword puzzles, or use one of the computers to keep in touch with family and friends.
For convenience, each floor contains its own comfortable lounge and card-operated laundry facilities. On the seventh floor, residents run a library, which A library run by our residents is located on the 7th floor which includes an Edmonton Public Library drop-off. Other on-site services include a hair salon, Tuck Shop, on-site pharmacy, the exercise room with treadmill and recumbent bike, an ATM, health clinics, foot doctor, hearing clinics, and visits from the Pet Therapy Society of Northern Alberta.

One of the prime attractions of the Meadowlark Place Lodge is that it is all on one main floor with 58 accessible, single, and double lodge units. The lodge exudes a close-knit, family atmosphere. The mature, park-like grounds surrounding the building provide a beautiful backdrop for residents to enjoy year-round with a beautiful gazebo in the south yard. The common areas include a games room complete with shuffleboard, exercise room, hair salon, crafts room, and card-operated laundry facilities.
With an Activity and Wellness Coordinator on-site, there is always a fun program going on. Resident favourites include playing a giant crossword, enjoying coffee in the java club, working out in exercise classes, playing bingo games, and socializing on pub nights.

Pleasantview Place Lodge, located on the same grounds as the Pleasantview Place Apartments, is an apartment-style, barrier-free building with 59 lodge units all on the main floor. A secure and peaceful inner courtyard is a private sanctuary for the residents to socialize, relax, and appreciate the gardens.
Residents enjoy the convenience of on-site dining prepared by a Red Seal Chef, programming curated by an Activity and Wellness Coordinator, in-unit emergency call system, and non-medical staff 24 hours a day.
The facility is a part of the Pleasantview area and supports the community through activities and relationships with schools, places of worship, and community groups.

Queen Alexandra Place is a three-storey, brick building with 58 accessible, single, and double lodge units, located in the heart of the desirable Old Strathcona neighbourhood. Convenient on-site features include card-operated laundry facilities, hair salon, and recreation room.
For active residents, weekly activities include regular exercise classes, bingo games, card games, shuffleboard, horse racing, and entertainment. For computer-savvy residents, there is a computer with internet access ready for use. A variety of services are available at the lodge monthly, including foot care clinics, wellness clinics, Ferguson Hearing, and worship services.

Virginia Park Lodge - Lodge

Virginia Park Lodge is part of the Virginia Park complex, where the lodge contains 65 accessible and single lodge units. The lodge is located in the beautiful, quiet, mature area of Virginia Park, and has beautiful grounds and shaded sitting areas provided by its 280 trees (yes, we counted them!). The garden in the courtyard is there for residents to grow and maintain flowers and vegetables. As a barrier-free building, the well-lit hallways lead to sitting areas, multipurpose room, sunroom, and dining room.
Features and services available to residents (some by appointments only) include an ATM, in-unit emergency call system, foot care clinics, hearing-aid clinics, and hair salon. The large dining hall in the lodge has a dance floor and a piano for live entertainment. The sunroom is a place to gather with friends and watch some television. With an Activity and Wellness Coordinator on-site, there is always a fun program going on.
