About this neighbourhood

Lauderdale is one of Edmonton’s mature neighbourhoods, located north of the Yellowhead corridor and west of 97 Street. A school and park site are located in the centre of the neighbourhood. The neighbourhood is filled with residential homes and is a lovely community to be a part of.

A fun fact about the neighbourhood is that it was named after James Lauder, originally from Scotland, who farmed and owned land near the Lauderdale neighbourhood before the turn of the century.

What's nearby:

Lauderdale Terrace is close to several business, medical offices, restaurants, and cafes. It has the added bonus of being close to North West Edmonton Seniors Society, which has lots of activities for residents to take part in. It is close to Grand Trunk Fitness and Leisure Centre, Northgate Mall, and Londonderry Mall, and many ETS bus routes to take you to any of these places.
